Based on this result, the test statistic and structures of the locally optimum fuzzy detector for stochastic signals are obtained. Several aspect5 of the locally optimum fuzzy nonlinearity for stochastic signals are also described. Finally, performance characterihcs of the locall) optimum fuzzy detector are brieflj diwussed.

Detecting Fixed Amplitude Signals in a Fuzzy Gaussian Environment
In practical signal detection scenarios, parameters of a random process are often uncertain. In this paper, we model such uncertainties as fuzzy parameters of a stationary random process. A fuzzy Neyman-Pearson hypothesis test concept which accepts any number of fuzzy parameters is presented. A suitable decision rule is developed by applying theory for ordering fuzzy numbers, and stated in term...
متن کاملDetection and Classification of Heart Premature Contractions via α-Level Binary Neyman-Pearson Radius Test: A Comparative Study
The aim of this study is to introduce a new methodology for isolation of ectopic rhythms of ambulatory electrocardiogram (ECG) holter data via appropriate statistical analyses imposing reasonable computational burden. First, the events of the ECG signal are detected and delineated using a robust wavelet-based algorithm. Then, using Binary Neyman-Pearson Radius test, an appropriate classifie...
متن کاملCooperative spectrum sensing against noise uncertainty using Neyman-Pearson lemma on fuzzy hypothesis test
In this paper, we consider the problem of cooperative spectrum sensing in the presence of the noise power uncertainty. We propose a new spectrum sensing method based on the fuzzy hypothesis test (FHT) that utilizes membership functions as hypotheses for the modeling and analyzing such uncertainty. In particular, we apply the Neyman–Pearson lemma on the FHT and propose a threshold-based local de...
متن کاملNeyman-Pearson Detection of Gaus Closed-Form Error Expone
The performance of Neyman-Pearson detection of correlated stochastic signals using noisy observations is investigated via the error exponent for the miss probability with a fixed level. Using the statespace structure of the signal and observation model, a closed-form expression for the error exponent is derived, and the connection between the asymptotic behavior of the optimal detector and that...
متن کاملOFDM-BPSK Wireless Communication System Performance under Employment of Generalized Receiver
In this paper, we discuss the performance of the orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) wireless communication systems using the binary phase shift keying (BPSK) modulation over Rayleigh fading channel implementing the generalized receiver (GR) constructed in accordance with the generalized approach to signal processing in noise. We compare OFDM-BPSK wireless communication systems ba...
